I agree. Other than feel, you've got enough stopping power to lock up the
front tires easily. Beyond that, the only thing you get by going to bigger
brakes is how MANY times in a row you can lock them up without fade.
So on the street, it's extremely unlikely you'll get fade. On the track,
they should be sufficient too, but if you get fade, fluid and pad
composition and cooling are most likely culprits.
Of course, bigger brakes LOOK cooler, so hard to argue with that logic. :)
