[s-cars] intermittent power loss

Hi-

I'm new to the list and have read some entries that dealt with power loss
and coil packs. I have a '95 s6 avant with 70K, a mtm stage 1 chip, rs2
header, sport bpv and hoses all from hoppen motorsport. It also has a stebro
cat back exhaust. I contacted hoppen and they don't think it's the bpv.
Said I would have low speed 'howl' which I don't.

The problem is that sometimes at full throttle- especially charging up a
hill it feels like I have no power. The car goes just fine but not with
it's normal authority. I had it checked for boost leak and none was found.
I also am showing no fault codes. I'm thinking of testing the coil packs
with a Fluke 87 Multimeter as one lister was trying.

The car was involved in a low speed collision with a tall vehicle that
impacted the passenger side head light. After repairs the timing belt
slipped off due to a slightly bent pulley. Ended up with new intake valves
and head gasket, timing belt, camshaft position sensor and crakshaft speed
sensor.

Any advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. I also have a
frontend 'clunk' when accellerating from a stop with the wheel turned that
no one has been able to diagnose.

Thanyou Mitch Miller
