Mark suggests:
The airbag sensor light can be as simple as a wire swap. We had our dash
lights fixed under warranty. Afterwards, the airbag sensor was on. The
mechanic had swapped the check engine light into the airbag sensor hole.
Voila! No more airbag sensor problems.
A new O2 sensor fixed the check engine light.
You could probably test this theory by disconnecting the O2 sensor.
