[s-cars] A howdy and an introduction

Hi -- Just bought my first S Car: A '97 S6 (imported from Canada).

I'm an ex-M3 coupe owner; needed a 4-door (two growing, sport-active sons)
and all-weather capability. I reckon this'un fits the bill.

One quick question for anyone who's done any SCCA racing on street tires:
Can shaving cure cupping? The rear Kumho Ecstas are cupped due to a long,
heavily laden trip with the previous owner, and they howl like mad. Hoping I
don't have to trash them.
