Folks- I heard second-hand there was a group purchase on these rims,
and thusfar I've seen three different prices.

I called TWE and was told $1080.  That sounded high and not exactly
like a group purchase price- so I emailed back a lister and asked
what the original price was- and found out it was $225...a good $180
cheaper.  I was also told "no rush, don't worry, we've got a ton
here, a shipment just came in."  That was about a week ago, I think,
maybe two- I'd have to check.

Now I emailed them today, and was told "I cannot offer them for that
price any longer.  $250 is my best.  I have one set of 5x112 in
stock."

I'd like to get the details straight from the horse's mouth.  Can
anyone forward me a copy of the original announcement, or point me to
a URL in the archives so I can read the thread(s)?  Was there an
'expiration date' on the deal?
