[s-cars] Infrared Key

Did you by chance not drive the car for a while, like say a week+, before
you noticed it not working?  If so that is normal.  After approx 7 days of
inactivity the remote receiver is shut down to save battery power.  To
reactivate you have to press the remote button first then unlock the car
with the key.  Then you can lock and unlock with the remote again as normal.
Check your owners manual if you have one.
