Listeners: These cars are truly amazing. Of the replies so far, there
has been only two MTF Sensors replaced: one @ 75k and one @ 115k, with
all the other responses indicating that they still have the OEM Sensors,
with most cars having well over 100k miles and one reply with over 200k.
Of course, as we all are aware the O2 Sensor is a regular maintenance
item, or should be. I will continue to track any other replies to the
question. Thanks to all of you that have replied so far. Oh, by the
way my 95.5 S6 with 86k has had only the O2 Sensor replaced as a
maintenance item.

I'm trying to remember, Dan. I don't recall replacing any of them. But
the car is almost new. It only has 180K miles on it. ;-)

Listeners: I am trying to determine which sensors are the most
problematic for our cars. Therefore, I would like to try an informal
survey of the List. For those of you who are willing, if you could
indicate which Sensor {s} you have replaced and the approximate number
of miles when it was. Here are several of the Sensors that I am thinking
of: Waste Gate Solenoid, Throttle Switch, Knock Sensor, Multi-Function
Temp. {MFT}, Air Temp., Mass Airflow {MAF}, Timing, Altitude, Intake
Manifold, Idle Control, and any others that I may have missed. I believe
that the O2 sensor is a given. Hopefully, this could provide some
valuable information. TIA.
