[s-cars] Hydraulic Pump Leak

These cars must all be telepathically linked!  I discovered today that
my car's (95.5 S6) hydraulic pump is also leaking, but NOT from the X
plug.  It looks like it's weeping from the two halves of the pump.  Is
it possible for one or more of the little screens inside some of the
banjo bolts to plug up enough for the pump pressure to go overboard and
cause leaks?  My car has 112,000 miles -- should I buy the pump seal
rebuild kit or go for a new pump?  Do the pumps ever wear out?
