[s-cars] RE: S fest was great

Hi Taka,

I missed your "beast". The 200TQ is one of my favorites, along with the
Audi V8. But just saying "hello" to an old friend I've met only twice
was already worse the trip. BTW, I've really tried to make my urS6 as
dirty as last time but it was not raining. The perfect weather made me
miss my main objective of the day ;-)

Can you believe my mate told me, on the trip back to Montreal, that we
should save on the next vacation so I can install some of the screaming
gizmo we heard on Susan Dr. She even mentionned she won't refuse to have
some of them installed on her Saab! That's the king of crazy thing which
can happen on a S-Fest.

I hope this will become a tradition, but Paul should be relieved of the
organization. He already have done too much for us. I know, I already
told that in another post but I think we should really do something as
the S-Fest will certainly grow over the year.

Nice seeing you again as well.

Thanks to Paul K., we had quite the gathering on Saturday- maybe 3 out
of
25 or 30 UrS cars were stock, otherwise it ranged from the typical chip,
suspension, wheels, exhaust and Big Reds all the way to insane-sounding
Garrett T04/50 hybrids screaming up the street with all of 370+ hp and
many
many RS2 conversions.

I missed seeing Uncle Bob and his latest version of PISS as well as
Bruce M.

Too bad Igor and Vincent came so late, would have loved to stick around
a
little longer.

Too bad my car is dead at the shop awaiting hydraulic system repair.

Next year, I'll bring it- I just won't drive it until then. :-)
