[s-cars] strange antilock behavior

Joe, et al,
This started happening with my car after the Big
Blacks went on and only at the final few feet of a
light stop when the pads/(or something) were
squealing.
Does the squeal confuse the sensors? Or would any
type of ABS action indicate a sensor problem?
