Dave;
You lube these joints by removing the joint from the transmission or
differential flange, which gives you access to the inside of the joint. Pack
it with CV joint grease.
Bless you, my son, you are forgiven your transgression. As penance, do a
wash & wax and clean & condition the seats :o)

How does one go about lubricating the CV or universal joints
(whatevertheyare) at the ends of the prop shaft? While were at it, what is
the appropriate lubricant?
