The VMAP-D has an option that can support Boost limiting in first gear (well
any specified gear(s)). It is still going through the standard 6 month QA
cycle we put new designs through. It may be released if there is enough interest.
It is an option board that plugs into VMAP-D sensor.
1) Advantage - uses all the ECU fail-safe + all the others the VMAP-D
provides.
2) Disadvantage - May run slightly rich under wide open throttle during boost
limiting and currently may only provide provisions to limit at 1.1 bar.
If there is an interest let me know. The production runs need to be a certain
size to make it cost effective ... donating great solutions with a lot of R&D
and $ bills wrapped around them would not be ideal.
