Hi all, I got back from my trip to Cali last night and all went well. We
drove the wife's Avant and drove the Sears point event half way through the trip.
It was great to me some more listers and get to see some very impressive
urs-cars as well as drive Hap's beast. It was night when I drove it so we did not
go crazy but I was able to do some 2nd through fourth pulls as well as some
hard breaking and the car performed incredibly. I can now say that the Big red
rear brakes do work very well when done right. The car did not have the nose
dive that mine does and felt very in control. I know this is just some straight
line breaking but he seemed to have no problems with it at the track either. As
far as the cars acceleration, yes it is very fast and I don't think there is
much out there that would keep up with it in a straight line. Anyway thanks
Hap and I enjoyed meeting you in person.
I also met and got a ride with Brian Bilotti and Trevor Frank both of which
are very good drivers and have there cars set up very nice. To ride with these
guys on the track in there cars makes you realize that these big pigs can be
good track cars and the HRSB really makes a difference in the cars handling.
The last day of the event in the last run group I got a ride with Randy
Pobst driving Helmar's wicked 20V 4000. That was the most wild ride of my life!!!!
The day after the event we did a day of wine touring and then we were off to
Colorado then Tennessee to see family, and now Home. Its good to be back. I
am spending the weekend putting the RS2 stuff on the wife's car (yes this was
her decision). There is still no snow on the ground here in Northern Michigan
and the sun is shining.

Elijah
