Hap,

Just cause you ignore it or don't know about it,
doesn't mean you don't have this problem.  Pull off
your lower intercooler hoses and let me know how
greasy they are inside.  If they're clean as a
whistle, you can say I told ya so.

Maybe this "surge" that you're getting is due in part
to pressurizing the crankcase with that Happersized
hair dryer?
