Not sure exaclty Taka, though Its quite a common occurence on hard driven 10vt's, I'm sure EGT's had something to do with it at somepoint.  This engine has been putting out a solid 350 crank HP for the past year or so, that's about 160hp per liter, so I'm sure some really tough exh valves were definitley in order on such a powerful motor.

All in all, I can't complain, the bottom end was a junk yard core, the exh valves were too, it was about time for a new engine anyhoo.
