[s-cars] Bent rim

Well the wife was borrowing the car and hit pothole this evening. Front tire hit with enough force to bend the outer edge of the rim .250 in. Got a little vibration since the rim is now out of round. Tire is holding air fine and did not go flat. My question, since the pothole was hit with enough force to deform the rim some, should the tire be replaced?  Could it have suffered some sidewall damage that is not visible? Opinions?
