That reminds me of visiting Hawaii, at least Oahu...however, the cars you see
will have real cops in them...

While there are a lot of standard large sedan police cruisers (i.e. Ford Crown
Vic), esp in Honolulu, local cops also have the option of outfitting their
personal vehicle for work purposes--gumball on top, siren & radio install, etc.
They get $400/month allowance (don't know about today--that was a few years
ago) as well as the privilege to fill their tank at the station.  So out in the
more remote areas (windward, north shore, etc), I've seen Camaros, Mustang
5.0s, Impala SS, and a myriad of other cars...no Audis, though :(
