Yes, these cars are designed for daily use, it has all the creature
comforts as well as performance. I drive mine 7 days a week. But my left
leg starts to get tired if stuck in traffic.

Yes, I enjoy working on mine and its quite easy too, there is lots of
room in the engine bay for access.

I'm not sure. The V6 was used in the A6, while the S4/S6 got the I5.
This is apples and oranges, we are talking 180 HP versus 230 HP.
