Elijah kindly offered his hose-
"My FMIC stuff is arriving and I plan on installing it in the next
couple
weeks so I have a lower SFS crossover to intercooler hose that I will
sell if anyone is interested. It is just like the samco hose but it has
two metal rings like the stock one. It is blue. Let me know if anyone
needs it.Thanks"
Hey Elijah,
I have an fmic coming too, though who knows when I'll get around to the
install:/ Should prolly fix the clutch first anyway, no? geeash do
these cars love the cold weather. But I digress...;)
If I may ask, what hoses are needed for this install and recommended
vendor/s?
And how, if you are, are you addressing the oil in the intake I wonder?
I'm likely to do some sort of JuanPizzoRiceCatchCan (JPRCC) though I
think some kind of oil cap vent may be easier, neater, more effective.
Problem is the cap doesn't exist except perhaps at Home Depot.
Anywaze, after going through the time and expense of these utterly
stupid, dumb, pricey and idiotically senseless fmic's AND cleansing the
intake prior to install, shouldn't we make sure that they STAY clean?
TIA
Cheers'
Bill m -facing head on the reality of an unburied wallet because;
afterall, hey...I'm almost done;)
