Subject: [s-cars] Brake Question
Hi List-
Wondering about a brake fitment question. Has anyone fit the regular
Porsche S2/Turbo brakes to their car, not the ones from the 944 turbo S /
928 S4? I know they are essentially the same size as the standard Boxster
caliper and those have been fitted using the A8 rotor. This is crossing my
mind because if I can waterfall the fronts off of my S2 to the S6, makes
buying the new larger fronts for the 944 more palatable. Ideas???
Thanks,
Riff

Ideas? Sure. Hmmmm... take sufficient brakes off light car, and put them,
now insufficient, on a heavy car, and then put bigger brakes on the car that
needs them sufficiently less. Hmmm... sounds about right...
Er, or, um, no.
Call me caraaaaaaazy, maybe it's just me, but the 4k lb. Miss Piggy needs
all of the brake it can get. I've found the S2 brakes more than enough for
it, maybe unless you intend to track the suckah. Keep 'em on it and score
some 993tt or 996 cals and call it a day...
My worthless $0.02
