Agree with using the stepper motor vs a solenoid, even my 4Runner basic 
Profec B utilizes a stepper motor....  However, I have another suspicion on the big 
turbo based on some Ned type trivia.  Why did audi change from the WG feed - 
Manifold (10vt CIS) to WG feed - Turbo Scroll (20vt)?  Advantage/disadvantage 
to either?  

I'll reiterate that the audi boost controller in the 20vt motronic is 
certainly better than a solenoid based piggy back boost controller (really any piggy 
back controller), but the archives already own that pontification...
