I believe the response time is a better indication how healthy the Oxygen 
sensor is - how quickly it cycles between rich and lean. This requires a high 
input impedance Analog meter (or a fast sampling digital meter with a bar graph 
display) - if it cycles at least 3 times a second it is probably o.k. Worn out 
Oxygen sensors usually have a slower response time (Cycle once a second).

Theoretically the perfect reading (averaged) would be 0.5 volts. 0.45 Average 
if probably fine.

I'm by no means an expert in this area so corrections are more than welcome.
