What brand and weight of oil are you using?

I've had massive oil consumption problems (like 2 qts.
every 1000 miles) with the Beetle 2.0 running Mobil 1
0W40. I've since switched to 10W30 to see if that will
alleviate the problem- seems to be working so far.

My 200 seems to like 15W50- I use less oil when this grade
of Mobil 1 is in the crankcase, less so than 10W30 and far
less than Castrol Syntec 5W50.
