Actually, I distinctly remember it (the piano black trim) being mentioned
here before.

To make a long story short, I bought a vandalized car and the dash had some
damage that included the trim on the passenger side dash and the HVAC trim.

I removed the trim and inspected it closely, if it had been refinished, the
job was OE quality with absolutely no sign of refinishing. I believe it be
OEM. I mean it was PERFECT, someone would have paid big money to do that type
of quality job. The trim showed no sign of being removed, usually you buggar
up the retaining clips and see scratches on the posts, there was no evidence
of that.

Scott Mockry may still have it as I traded him the trim for some other parts
as he was greatly interested in it. He may be better able to comment whether
or not it is OEM.

My car does not have the passenger airbag.
