[s-cars] headlamp washer update

Here's a quick update on my no wash situation.

Several (perhaps many!) pointed out that the headlamps have to be *on* for
the washers to work. That I knew :)

Andrew also suggested that if the washer fluid was low, the windshield would
be washed, and the headlamps would not. I have not been able to either
confirm or deny this. My wash fluid was indeed low and I put a gallon in.
Washers still did not work. :(

I resigned myself to doing an R&R of the headlamp washer pump, called Mack
at Clair to order one. I called him from the car, left a message and then
tried the washers *one last time.*

They worked!

Either they heard me talking with Mack...or my cleaning the washer units on
Saturday did the trick. During my weekly car wash, I pulled each of the
washers away from the headlamps, and I guess that cleaned the shafts
sufficiently to remobilize them. They must have been clogged with grime and
grit.

What do you use to lubricate your shafts?

Anyway, problem solved!
