You can do quite a bit to an S8 to make it faster:

6-speed manual conversion to Euro spec

Exhaust systems available from Euro tuners

Chips do very little to a car like this

Suspension- H&R coilover for one, also more conventional
shock/spring combos

Brakes- several options again- Alcon, AP Racing, Porsche
996 turbo and variants, Brembo, to name a few

Keep those SPEC clutch reports coming- who is the vendor for
the clutch? Any issues w/ installation? Any difficulty
modulating for uphill starts, etc.? Chatter? Total cost?
