The strut assembly is different for the S8, the Brembo caliper does not need
any transition pieces to bolt up, everything is built into the strut. The
Brembo caliper on the S8 is a 2 piece, where the Porsche is a one piece. A
few pictures of the stock S8 caliper here, the last picture shows the split
down the caliper:
