[s-cars] Oil Filter Troubles

Taka:  Under desparate circumstances there is one more way to get a very
stubborn oil filter off:  Jamming a large screw driver through the
filter and reefing on the handle.  Like I said - desparate.  I learned
this once in 1986 in Norway when I tried to change the oil for the very
first time and the new from the factory (Wolfsburg) Jetta oil filter
would not give it up without a long fight (I still have the scars).  A
more elegant solution would have been a proper oil filter "cup" socket
and a half inch drive breaker bar - if I could have found one - while
speaking no Norwegian and trying to find the equivalent of "NAPA" auto
parts (or Pep Boys) (I would have taken B & B (Bjorn and Bjarne)
AutoParts if I could have found one).  Dave F.
