[s-cars] Oil Filter Troubles

Yeah, I was going to do the big screwdriver thing- used that before when
really
necessary, but seeing that it started to get dark and was getting below
freezing,
I packed it up.

Another problem w/ the A4 is filter placement- very difficult to get
tools to the filter
due to the angle of the housing and so getting the screwdriver in an
orientation where
this trick would work would be rather difficult.

I'm grateful that neither my 200 nor the UrS share this idiotic design.

A few have mentioned the oil filter sockets, IME these work fine under
normal conditions, but with a really stubbor filter the socket will
happily strip the thin sheetmetal housing of the filter, and out comes
the big screwdriver, works every time.
