I run to 26PSI with a rs2 turbo. 28PSI with occasional overboost. I've
been running like this for the last 50,000 miles -- and I just hit 195,000K
with the Avant today. Above 5K rpm, this boost pressure would be off the
rs2 compressor map, and probably onto the next page. but at 4-5K rpms, it's
still in the sweet spot on the comoressor map.
The SW I run drops boost at redline to 18 PSI. I'm worried about longevity
too. Maybe she'll only last to 250K instead of 300K miles because of all
this abuse!
:-)

Has anyone ever pegged 30 psi yet ? I don't think so.
That is a lot of boost / volume. What would be next 35 PSI :-)
When does the bottom drop out and the head fly off anyways ?
Inquiring minds wanna know ! Well one at least.
