Subject: [s-cars] Funny (or maybe not) sound from my car

I was just dropping off my S6 at the local dealer to have the seat heater
repaired, and on the way there, a sound appeared.  I'm always nervous when a
sound appears.  This one I could not identify.  It was sort of a gurgling or
popping sound, and it came on when I hit the gas pretty hard.  My thought is
that it either it has to do with the turbo, or the added pressure is making
some other equipment malfunction.  The sound at first made me think of holes
in the exhaust / mufflers, but I don't know why that would only show up
under hard acceleration.  So any BTDT ideas?  Thanks.

Seat heater @ the Stealer???  Whoa NELLY, have your checkbook handy...

Could it be the faint sound of your exhaust hitting?  That'd be my guess.
Of course, mine just started doing the same thing last weekend, 2nd gear
only.  My guess is tranny mounts are toast, will solve problem with 6
speed...
