If it's the water pump, you will want to get it into the shop ASAP. A
failing water pump bearing can cause the impeller to freeze, and that
in turn means no cool water to the heads (followed by the inevitable
head gasket failure and more-than-likely warped heads). If you're under
warrantee, quit asking questions and dump it at the closest reliable
dealer. Hell, I'd even have it towed!
