I don't know with the 20VT but the 20V engine water pump had the bad
habit to froze, usually due to a bad bearing, which stopped the T-Belt,
engine still running and ... you know what's follow. In fact, it seems a
good deal of T-belt failures on the 20V is due to frozen water pump.
Now, may be the 20VT doesn't react the same way to frozen water pump but
I would check, double check, triple check before even starting the
engine.

Thanks Marc!  Waaaaaaaay ahead of you, claim filed, parts ordered.  I'm
not
*too* worried, keep close eye on the gauges anyway, I'd notice the first
sign of heat pretty quickly.  Hope it don't come to that though!

If it's the water pump, you will want to get it into the shop ASAP. A
failing water pump bearing can cause the impeller to freeze, and that in
turn means no cool water to the heads (followed by the inevitable head
gasket failure and more-than-likely warped heads). If you're under
warrantee, quit asking questions and dump it at the closest reliable
dealer. Hell, I'd even have it towed!
