Dumb question, but on the wiring diagrams, what are the numbers that
accompany each wire just above the color code?

Also, for those of you that responded to my query about whether my
windshield washers were heated, I was given a quick tour of the mechanism by
the dealer, and in fact they are.  The wires are hidden inside the hood, as
some of you suggested was probable.  It will be simple to pop them out and
see if they are getting any power, which I will do on any warm day...maybe
June. :-)  Thanks again for your input and advice.  BTW, I fixed my seat
heater and now have a nice warm butt.  Big smile on that one!
