Hi Y'all,
I've been thinking again. I've found that thinking seems to get me into
trouble almost every time I try it.
I pulled out the instrument cluster on my urS6 to replace some light bulbs
and saw a really nice spot which looks almost exactly the right size in
which to mount an A/F gauge. Take a look at http://splitsec.com/ and check
out their ARM1 meter. I think that thing turned so the light display goes
up/down rather than right/left should fit nicely in the unused space
(blacked out with a plastic black box. The box measured just barely over
7/8 inch wide by 2 1/4 inch high by almost any depth you want within
reason. That's approximately 23 mm by 57 mm. The opening covered by the
box is 9/16" (14.3 mm) by 1 7/8" (47.6 mm). This opening is narrower than
the A/F gauge but it is large enough that the display portion of the gauge
face should be fully visible through the opening.
The dimensions shown for the A/F meter are 0.78" W by 2.265" H by 1.51"
D. The height may be just a little bit tight but some careful
"adjustments" would probably permit it to fit in the available hole.
D'ya think it will work? Anybody have a better suggestion?
Bueller?
