[s-cars] Need tool

John:

What year is your //S? I ask because on the earlier models the bent coat
hanger worked because of different means of securing the head unit. On
later models, like on my 95.5, you need two "keys" that slip into the slots
at the bottom of the head unit. My local dealer was kind enough to lend 'em
to me when I needed to pull the headunit.

Here is some crude ascii art of what the key kind of look like - at least
the business end of it. The "hook" end faces to the outside of the
headunit. Hope this helps a bit as you are right, the coat hanger is not
the ticket.

Isn't a coat hanger too thick - too big around?

Two bent pieces of coat hanger? I've gotten in trouble with my wife before
for cutting up perfectly good hangers, but no need to go to the dealer =)
