[s-cars] '91 Audi Coupe antenna replacement

I would like to replace/upgrade my roof mounted amplified antenna and wouldnt
mind upgrading the looks as well.

My car is a late '91. I have square hole in my roof. I want to make as few
modifications as possible.

How about those rear roof mounted short stub antennas you see on newer cars?

I would highly value your recommendations.
