However, Russ, these light bulbs listed in the URL are no significant
improvement over the standard halogen bulbs which are already gas
filled. Xenon (or Argon) filled bulbs are nothing new and do not produce
significantly more light than the standard halogen lights. These bulbs and
the claims made for them are nothing more than marketing hype which allows
the seller to fleece Rice-Boy wannabes of a few extra bucks which were
unnecessary to spend in the first place. They belong in the category of
neon under-car lighting or lighted valve caps, not the category of decent
upgrades. I have to side with Fred on this one.
Agreed, HID lights bear absolutely no correlation with the Xenon filled
bulbs shown in the URL. They are totally different technologies.
