Oh well.

The quattros are tucked away in the garage, awaiting our return on Friday.

Before we left I had the chance (at midnight!) to wash both cars so they
wouldn't sit in a salt bath for a week while we were away. Pretty cool...I
pulled them out of the garage after I washed them and the steam just poured
off the cars. I guess the temp differential (water on the cars at 50
degrees, and the outside air at 5 degrees) caused the water to evaporate
rather quickly.

Only saving grace is that I now have a nice older Colnago racing bike
stashed here in Florida so I can ride. Did 35 miles by the shore yesterday
and another 20 today.

Oh well, guess I'll have to grin and bear it :)
