[s-cars] great mileage

I got just north of 12 MPG the first tank after a chip upgrade. Got about
22 yesterday on a 300 mile highway trip with liberal "giggle bursts".
Summary: Fuel economy is in direct disproportion to the width of the grin.

Guys, I'm just computing my mileage, and I got 16.4 on my last tank in the
city. Is this way below what I should be getting?

Over the past 36 hours I had to drive to Wilmington, NC and back on
business. The drive down was just that: mostly downhill the whole way so I
didn't calculate mileage. The return trip (mostly uphill) yielded 28.39
MPG! Is that what normally happens when you put the cruise on 74 mph and
leave it?!? I'm used to 20 mpg or less because of my heavy foot/city
driving combo. Other than that, an uneventful trip--just wanted to share.
