[s-cars] Interior Door Latch

My door latch(from the interior) seems to have lost its functionality. I
cannot open my door from the inside which requires me to open the window my
window and use the outside latch. I think the cable, or whatever the door
latch attaches to, seems to have broken off or is disconnected. When I pull
the handle it has no give and is quite loose. Any remedies for this? Is
there a way to open up the door panel to get at it?
