I can sit quiet no longer...
2 Xmas' ago I was compiling my list for Santawife. Ya know, car parts. I'd
had a bad year of getting bagged, bad I say, bagged, so I pleaded with her
for one of them Rocky Mountain Radar units. Forget the model. Did copious
research all over the net on them, but couldn't find much info on these.
She got me it, the good wife she is.
I tell you this... this thing was THE biggest POS product I've ever laid
eyes upon. It looked like a cruddy toy a 6 year old would bring to school
to light up and make noises. Serious. That bad.
Even worse, as time had passed since my research and Xmas, I did some more
recon. Look for yourself, many claims of RMR being FULL OF POOPY. Their
claims are not true. The products do NOT work. Talk to some Statey's about
them, I have. The only one that *may* be even close to effective is the K40
license plate frame unit, even them the results are shady at best.
I promptly returned mine, all too happy to pay the 20% restocking fee. Even
worse, call them. It's worse than calling your local 7/11 if you know what
I mean. My darling wife lovingly replaced said POS with a nice new AC-22.
Gotta love her.
YMMV. Just hate to see anyone I like spend their hard earned $$$ on this
crap.
-Paul waiting patiently until the REAL McCoy comes to market, then I'm ALL
over it K.
