I was working on replacing my fuel pump this week and in doing so I had to =
remove the rear seat ski-bag. Well now that the fuel pump is in and workin=
g, I have been trying to re-install the ski-bag. I have spent more time tr=
ying to do this "simple" job, then I did with the fuel pump! It just will =
not go in.
I have installed these things before on my '95 A6Q and it went in no proble=
m??? I just ensure that the bottom teeth are hooked over the metal rim and=
engaged tightly, then the top should just swing up an clip into the top of=
the metal rim. But this one will not clip? I have checked the metal rim =
for warps and bends... It seems to be OK.
In one of my many attempts to clip it in.. I have broken one of the hinges =
on the swing out door (with the magnet). Does anyone have a replacement sk=
i-bag unit that I could buy?
Or possibly another solution that does not utilize the ski-bag but provide =
support for the center arm rest so that a person can sit in the middle rear=
seat without falling into the hole?
Thanks,
Brent Henry
