[s-cars] Overheating!... fixed (I think)

Hey everyone-

thanks for all the replies on my recent overheating issue: T-stat wins, i
think.

I threw the old one in a pot of h2o and it opened around 175 F, but the new
one opened earlier, around 155 or so. Bentley says, partial around 175 and
full around 215. WTF? So i installed the new one, thinking maybe the old
one was stuck before I pulled it out, and somehow 'unstuck' itself.

Oh, and unfortunately, I was out of Pentosin. so had to pay stealer prices
(4.95 a quart... ouch!) for vw/audi "blue" which also required draining and
flushing (completely) the system before refilling. So, a 30 minute job
takes me much longer.... whattya going to do.

Car now seems fine. channel 51 shows coolant temps between 81-90c, much
better than the 104-110c I saw the other day.

So, thanks! (Mark, Calvin, Ray, Paul, Marc, Chad, and anyone else I may have
missed) List comes through again!
