Joe,
I think the more important issue is fouling the thousand $ cat , unless
of course, you've eliminated that problem :-) Who is that lister with
the epa.gov email handle?

For further edification, check out
<www.cpchem.com/fuels/products/racingfuels.asp>. They are the supplier
for Duggans on S Santa Fe. They only produce one street legal racing
gas at 101 octane. Some others are lead-free but are not street legal
for various reasons(ie, they are not oxygenated where required, don't
meet vapor pressure specs, or have other metal additives).
Bill, perhaps your 110 octane racegaz is 110 Research Octane ?
Check out the warning labels around suppliers or fueling pits next
chance you get. Then consider 100K race fans in the semi-enclosed oval
at Daytona or Bristol Motor Speedway. Perpetuation of the gene pool
is not the only issue affecting the mental capacity of NASCAR fans.
Might as well sling a little lead vapor around too. Heroin buzz, sho'
nuff.

Tom
