Remember, that on any new digital "dual mode" or "tri-mode" phone, one of
the modes is analog.  I have my car phone hooked up through Verizon.  After
the people get done scratching their heads about how to program the thing,
there is usually one guy in each store that remembers they have a shorting
plug somewhere "in the back" that hooks up to your phone's amplifier in the
trunk.  After doing this then they can program it like any older Motorola
phone and away you go.
