[s-cars] radio woes

I'd concur with Mark that it's not the amplifiers themselves.

Next time it happens, try playing a cassette. If that works OK, then the
problem may have to do with how the RF modulator is spliced in.

If the cassette sounds is very faint, too, then I'd guess that either (1.)
the amplifiers aren't getting switched power from the head unit or (2.) the
head unit has an intermitant internal fault.

Make sure the connectors on the back of the head unit are all tight.

howdy all. here's the problem: when i turn on the radio or the rf
modulated
cd changer i hear very faint music trickling from the speakers (both front
and rear). a week'll go by and voila, everything's working fine (that is,
until it shi*s the bed again). i was looking for the rear amp in the
bentley's cd-rom and they only showed the schematic for the wagon. not too
much help. has anyone ever experienced this? is it the head unit or the
amps. please advise. thanks in advance.
