[s-cars] ECS Big Reds, Mintex reds, and horrendous brake squeal

Mintex reds are basically just an OEM type pad with
less dust, AFAIK.  They made noise on my 993-based
setup, but have since swapped them out for Pagid
Oranges.  You think YOUR brakes are noisy?  ;-)  I
sound like a mack truck and I can deal with the noise.
 It just makes you use the brakes later and more
aggressively.  Soon you'll be forking over cash for
springs and shocks, bud.  As long as they stop the
car, I couldn't care less...but to each his own.  I
would try the OEM Porsche pads w/dampeners if I were
you.
