Subject: [s-cars] Nordschleife and the summer
Am planning on being in Germany at some point this year (probably late
summer: a few legal matters to untangle), and if the timing happens to
coincide, I'll be there :)
PS - if I do make it, I'll be able to bed down about 4 or 5 people at
various relatives in the area (about 40 minutes away via Autobahn), if
anyone is looking to live a bit cheaper :)
Good, I like your way of thinking. You too, Eric.
At this point I've heard about 6 of you sound off here that you'd at least
consider going. I'm actually somewhat surprised not more of you have chimed
in about it yet, buthey, your loss right? 8-).
Realistically I know it's a lot for some to pull off, but like Eric so
eloquently put it, stranger things can happen (my beautiful bride is
partially subsidizing it for my upcoming 30th so I can't complain!). 4 of
us in the CT Contingency are 100%, that's all I need to pull it off. But
thought meeting a bunch of fellow Audiots (RANDY!) there would add to the
insanity.
Is the CO Mafia planning a "Spanish Inquisition" maybe? It needs more
chiding, ribbing, heckling, and insulting to step up possibly? 8-). Are
there those that don't know what this is? I dare you to surf them links and
not be intrigued. People are secretly planning their own trip on a sublist
for ANYtime that I am NOT there? Now that one holds some weight...
I'll continue to update everyone as it comes together in the coming months,
SUGGESTIONS WELCOMED (and heckled, remember). As it begins to formulate
more tangibly maybe more will climb aboard the Looney Express. Wooo woooo,
I'm the caboose!
Er, was that out loud?...
