Was it worn off when the pads went on or did the pads wear it off? So far I know of 5 of us who have squealing red box pads and all 5 started the pads on the cad plated rotors. Bob P's don't squeal but his were not the first set of pads on the rotors. Igor, were your S8 rotors plated?
